Privacy policy

This policy describes how the Government of Goa, under the Swayampurna Goa programme, handles personal information collected through this website.

1. What we collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide our services. This may include:

  • Name, address, telephone number, email address and any supporting documents you supply when applying for a scheme, responding to a tender or recruitment notice, or filing a request under the Right to Information Act, 2005
  • Information you provide through the feedback form
  • Server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps) used only for security and capacity planning

2. How we use information

Information is used solely for the purpose for which it was collected — to process an application, evaluate a tender, respond to feedback, comply with a statutory obligation, or improve the security and performance of this website.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We share it only with other Government of Goa departments and agencies of the Government of India to the extent necessary to deliver a service, and with auditors, lawful authorities and courts when required by law.

This website uses cookies only for essential functions: storing your accessibility preferences (text size, contrast mode, chosen language) and maintaining your session if you log in. We do not place advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

5. Data retention

Personal information is retained only as long as required by the purpose for which it was collected, or by record-retention rules applicable to government records, whichever is longer.

6. Security

The site is hosted within India on infrastructure secured to the standards prescribed by CERT-In. Sensitive data is transmitted over HTTPS with current TLS protocols. The site is audited annually by a CERT-In empanelled auditor.
