What we work towards

The Goals of Swayampurna Goa

Swayampurna Goa pursues a comprehensive set of goals so that every Goan village and city becomes truly Atmanirbhar — economically, socially and ecologically.

  • Self-reliance in food production

Reduce dependence on neighbouring states for foodgrains, vegetables, fruits, dairy and fish through revival of agriculture and allied sectors in every village.

  • Saturation of Government schemes

100% coverage of central and state Government schemes — housing, ration card, Aadhaar, drinking water, electricity, pension and welfare — at the household level.

  • Infrastructure at the doorstep

Construction of houses, drainages, toilets, internal roads and community facilities in every panchayat and ward, with measurable progress and timelines.

  • Empowering farmers and Krishi Card holders

Distribution of Krishi Cards to enable easy access to inputs, subsidies, credit and markets for farmers across Goa.

  • Inclusion of Divyang citizens

Saturation of ADIP assessment camps, distribution of assistive aids and appliances, and creation of an inclusive, barrier-free Goa.

  • Skill development and livelihoods

Training programmes for youth, women and self-help groups to develop local skills, indigenous enterprises and sustainable livelihoods.

  • Digital empowerment

Delivery of e-Governance services and digital literacy at the village level so that no citizen is left behind in the Digital India journey.

  • Sustainable and green villages

Promotion of solid-waste management, water conservation, renewable energy and ecologically sustainable practices in every village.
