2.37 lakh students from l to X. Standard in all Government and Government Aided schools were screened (preliminary eye checkup), Approximately 14,510 school students were rescreened by technical experts from M/s Prasad Netralaya Super Speciality Hospital, Udupi. 3,439 students were found with refractive defects and were provided with spectacles or referred for further treatment free of cost.
