Swayampurna Goa Programme was initiated with an objective of last mile delivery of every Government beneficiary oriented scheme to every needy individual of the State. In order to create awareness about the Government schemes/ policies/ initiatives among the general public/locals, following Government Departments have initiated special drives in every Village Panchayat and Municipality from 1st January, 2025

Currently, the following Departments /Corporations are conducting special drives:

1. Directorate of Health Services
2. Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration
3. Department of Legal Metrology
4. Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited
5. Directorate Of Women and Child Development
6. Life Insurance Corporation
7. Directorate of Social Welfare
8. Water Resources Department
9. Directorate of Fisheries
10. Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services
11. EDC Limited
12. Goa State Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation Ltd
13. The Goa State Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation.
14. Goa State Minorities Finance and Development Corporation Limited
15. Goa Waste Management Development Corporation
16. Goa State Disaster Management Authority

Since 1st January, 2025 till date, more than 24000 persons have benefited through the drives gaining awareness and availing various benefits from the drives. During the period from January till date, all Village Panchayats and Municipalities have been covered.

These camps have been met with enthusiastic support from the local community. The majority of attendees have expressed gratitude for this initiative led by the Hon’ble Chief Minister. The success of the drives can largely be credited to the dedicated efforts of elected local representatives and Swayampurna Mitras, who have played a key role in encouraging public participation and ensuring that residents benefit from these opportunities.
