International Women’s Day was celebrated on 9th March, 2023 at New Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Dona Paula, in association with Bank of Baroda, under Swayampurna Goa Programme 2.0. On this occasion the Hon’ble Chief Minister felicitated 37 Mahila Self Help Groups and 40 Women from various fields such as Entrepreneurship, Social Work, Government Administration, and Education.

On 9th March, 2024 the Government celebrated Swayampurna Mahotsav on the occasion of International Women’s Day wherein more than 5000 women participated. The presidents of various Self Help Groups, Women Entrepreneurs were felicitated at the hands of Hon’ble Chief Minister.
